Ed Germann

Ed Germann was a founding partner in Jefferson Energy Terminal, Port of Beaumont, Texas. He was instrumental in identifying the business opportunity through his extensive network of commercial executives. Ed served as Chief Commercial Officer where he helped negotiate and manage additional key commercial relationships that fueled the growth of the Jefferson Terminal for years. This included four major oil refineries, three major railroads, pipeline companies, and commodity trading houses. Most recently Ed served 10 years as project and commercial development executive at the Jefferson Enterprise corporate level. His focus was on building commercial relationships, real estate acquisition, permitting, and community relations. He negotiated numerous supply and offtake contracts for the Jefferson projects. Ed began his career in the financial securities industry, where he obtained five FINRA licenses (Series 7, 24, 53, 63, and 65), demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of investment products, compliance, and portfolio management prior to joining Jefferson in 2007. He earned a B.A. from the University of North Texas.
